Furniture Protection Plan

ON FABRIC, MICROFIBER, A&P LEATHER OR VINYL

  • Household food and beverage stains

  • Stains from human and pet saliva, urine, stomach fluid, or blood

  • Accidental burn or singe marks caused by brief contact with flame or heat

  • Accidental ballpoint pen ink, wax crayon, facial cosmetics, nail polish, or nail polish remover

  • Color transfer from denim jeans or newspaper

  • Accidental puncture, cut, tear or rip

  • Cracking or peeling of all leather and vinyl in non-seating areas

  • Cracking or peeling of top grain leather in seating areas

  • Breakage of frames, panels, or springs; breakage of mechanisms including sleeper mechanisms, reclining mechanisms, and heating, power, and vibrating mechanism will be covered only upon expiration of manufacturer’s warranty and may not be used in lieu of manufacturer’s warranty.

ON WOOD

  • Household food and beverage stains (product stain excluding accumulation)Accidental burn or singe marks caused by brief contact with flame or heat

  • Fading from sun exposure

  • Accidental ballpoint pen ink, wax crayon, facial cosmetics, nail polish, or nail polish remover

  • Failure of assembled joints

  • Water or household beverage marks, stains, or rings

  • Accidental scratches penetrating through the top coat finish

  • Accidental dents, gouges or chipping penetrating through the top coat finish

  • Peeling of the finish of solid wood or veneer surfaces

EXCLUSIONS SUMMARY*

  • General soiling, odors, unknown stains, color loss and fading, normal wear and tear, non-colorfast material.

  • Seam slippage/separation or cushion density.

  • Damage occurring prior to or during delivery, while furniture is in transit or storage, or during assembly.

  • Damage from accumulation, neglect, or misuse.

  • Intentional physical damage, animal and insect infestation, pet damage, other than those specifically stated in the plan, acts of nature, fire, burglary, theft, vandalism, collision, or corrosion.

ANNUAL FURNITURE REFRESH

This is a maintenance cleaning, which will remove common soiling from typical home usage. This will help to renew the appearance of your upholstered/leather furniture as well as extend its longevity. The purpose is not complete stain removal. Upholstery & Leather can trap dirt, allergens, and soils that wear down the fibers and dull the appearance of your furniture. With Sherman's Annual Maintenance Cleaning, your furniture will be refreshed and renewed for a cleaner, enhanced look. While leather furniture may not be as absorbent as upholstery, over time body oils, perspiration, and regular use can diminish its appearance.

  • We inspect upholstery for fiber type, physical defects, and color fastness. After, we

  • use fabric-friendly cleaners that safely remove maximum soil.

  • We inspect leather for type and defects. After, we use safe and effective cleaners &

  • conditioners to rehydrate and rejuvenate to prolong its soft and supple nature.

  • Depending on the type of fabric, your furniture will be dry within 2 to 6 hours

UPHOLSTERY & LEATHER

  • Food and beverage stains including gum

  • Human body and pet fluid (except perspiration, body and hair oil)Accidental

    puncture, cut, tear or rip

  • Accidental burn or singe marks caused by brief contact with flame or heat

  • Cosmetics

  • Suntan oil/lotion

  • Bleach & caustic solutions

  • Ink, markers, and dye

  • Breakage of glass table tops, welds or umbrella mechanism

ON WOOD

  • Technician will inspect and document/photograph its condition.

  • Features such as legs, doors, and drawers will be tightened.

  • Application of a safe and effective cleaner to remove build up oils and contaminants.

  • Application of a conditioning agent which will polish and protect your furniture, also

  • contains an antistatic agent for less dusting.
